Introduction : Return and Refund policy
We comply with applicable EU consumer protection laws. This Return and Refund Policy applies to consumers within the European Union and outlines your rights and obligations when returning products purchased through our webshop.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), receives the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email at info@aercover.store).
How to return an item
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order by sending an email to info@aercover.store with the subject line "Return – [your order number]".
- Wait for your return label - we will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and a return label via MyParcel. Please note that the cost of return shipping is at your expense and will be deducted from your refund, or invoiced separately.
- Pack your item securely in its original packaging where possible.
- Drop off your package at any designated MyParcel drop-off point using the provided return label.
- Receive your refund - once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days to the original payment method.
Please note that items must be returned in their original, unused condition. Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including, where applicable, the costs of standard delivery. Return shipping costs are not included and remain at your expense.
Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having sent back the goods, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
Return of goods
You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal.
The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.
As stated above, return shipping costs are at your expense and will be deducted from your refund, or invoiced separately.
Condition of returned items
You may handle and inspect the product as you would in a physical store.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
For example, if the product is used more than necessary for evaluation, or is returned damaged or incomplete, we may reduce the refund accordingly to reflect the diminished value.
Exceptions to right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery
Defective or non-conforming products
If the product you receive is defective, damaged, or does not conform to your order, you are entitled to a legal guarantee of at least two years under EU consumer law.
In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible at info@aercover.store with a description of the issue and, if possible, supporting images.
We will assess the situation and, where applicable, offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your legal rights.
