Validation Environment

Aercover was developed and aerodynamically validated by Dr. Ir. Wannes Stalmans, an aerotester active in the WorldTour.

Aercover's aerodynamic validation was carried out during professional indoor velodrome testing using established aerodynamic measurement methods and repeated comparative runs.

The current published result represents the first publicly released dataset. Additional validation across further pedal platforms and independent testing programmes will be added as development continues.

Engineering Notes

  • Actual aerodynamic savings depend on rider position, pedalling style, shoe and equipment configuration, cleat position, and speed.
  • The reported value represents the average result of repeated comparative velodrome testing under controlled conditions and should be understood in that specific context.
